Cabernet’s structure and depth are complemented by Merlot’s juicy fruit, texture and soft tannin in this classy wine. Plenty of extract and power here. Dark chocolate, aniseed and spicy creamy oak, black fruit. It’s deep and fleshy, a lot of chew and density to tannin, oak plays a firm hand, and the finish is bold and full. Kind of showy, but a good wine. It’s easy to see why Margaret River is internationally renowned for this wine style.
