Intense aromas of red fruits – cherry and plum. Undertones of new French oak and a suggestion of licorice. A medium to full-bodied Pinot Noir that exhibits a fine tannin structure wonderfully integrated with the new oak. Flavours of plum, cherries and strawberry with a hint of warm spices and vanillin oak. A generous finish and persistence with the ability to age for five to eight years.

Silverstream is a family owned business with a focus on biodynamic viticultural practices, producing cool climate, single vineyard wines. Trademark varietals are Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc, all of which are in our current selection. The owner, Tony Ruse, believes “a great wine starts with quality soil – we have a wonderful well drained site, our cool climate wines are a direct reflection of this”.
