With a good whack of Merlot, this wine pours a deep crimson red with expressive notes of raspberries, plums and a touch of mint. The palate is generous, bright and bombastic. The perfect fun red wine for any occasion.
Blood Moon was started by Matt Aulich and a couple of mates back in 2014, but five years later, Matt went solo. His philosophy on winemaking is quite interesting – he produces it because of the wide array of flavours and aromas it offers, but also because of the textures that come out of different techniques. As he says – “this is a primal sensory experience, but infinitely nuanced”.
