This is a Cab Sauv for the books. You open it, decant it a bit and it’s stunningly ready to drink. Deep ruby in the glass. Nose is rich with notes of ripe blackberry fruit, cedar, rosemary and a ton of sweet oak aromas. Chewy in the mouth, only something that you get from Cabs or Merlots made in perfect vintages. The acid is there, the tannins are there, the oak is beautifully integrated with everything. The finish is long, dry, but with a nice streak of acid to brighten things up. Tremendous value, buy as much as you can.
