Arlewood La Bratta Rosso 2017

$68.00

The La Bratta Rosso displays bright violets, blackcurrant and plum with spicy undertones. A complex, savoury and rich style that is full bodied with a very ripe and fine tannin structure. Flavours of blackcurrant and underlying dark cocoa are pronounced. A long, persistent and intriguing wine that is drinking beautifully now but will reward patience.

Since 1994 Garry and Marian Gosatti have been growing grapes in Margaret River. Their petite single vineyard is inspired by Garry’s Italian heritage, where his great grandfather was capo of the cooperativa winery ‘La Gatta’ in Valtellina (far north of Italy). Today their two sons Jordan and Adrian manage every aspect in the vineyard while Jordan’s wife Paris runs the tiny cellar door. Arlewood’s wines are handcrafted by Cath Oates.
