Planted on the Merricks Grove vineyard, this wine is more full-bodied (in comparison to his other Pinots), but still retaining its delicateness and elegance at the same time. Supple and savoury, dangerously drinkable from start to finish. A very juicy personality with spiced cherry, grenadine and classy wood spice to a lingering and perfumed finish with very fine tannins.
Garagiste by Barnaby Flanders and Cam Marshall, named in honour of the ‘garage’ vitners of Bordeaux who broke away from the rigid trations, focuses on producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that reflects the subtleties of the Mornington Peninsula’s sub-regions.
