Travis Tausend Yumi 2020

$69.00

A blend of two different clones of Pinot Noir (MV6 & D5V12). Hand-picked, part de-stemmed, part whole-bunch fermented. A bit of sweet fruit on the front palate, but obsessively tart all day. More peach and strawberry pack up the mouthfeel, with good amounts of funk rivaling the fruit. Refreshing, soft & just easy-sailing. Yumi is undoubtedly one for the books.

With the help of the vineyard owner Steve, Travis gets his grapes from vines that grow at the very southern tip of the Adelaide Hills in a small community called Hope Forest. The original carers and traditional owners of this land are the Perimangk people. The soils here are varied but the vines put their roots into mostly clay, sand and ironstone based soils.
