TERROIR TALKS EP. 27 // The Lost Plot
Matt has been making wine since 2005, with his first vintage with Dromana Estate. Since then he’s done vintages in France started a side project and Mattara Wines, all the while working as Assistant Winemaker at Crittenden Estate, since 2008.
Matt’s first vintage with The Lost Plot brought these wines – Roussanne, Rosé and the Syrah Grenache Mourvèdre blend, which have all been well received. These wines show Matt’s approach of gentle handling and minimal mucking around to produce wines that keep their acidity and freshness.
