Medium ruby in the glass. Spicy tones at first sniff, but with a bit of air, this opens up beautifully to fruit notes of plum, blackcurrant, blueberry and hints of hibiscus tea. Full-bodied with high acid and slightly unripe tannins. Juicy fruits. So balanced. Long finish. Everything you want in a Cab Franc, which is often not seen on the AUS market.

Trademark varietals are Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc, all of which are in our current selection. The owner, Tony Ruse, believes “a great wine starts with quality soil – we have a wonderful well drained site, our cool climate wines are a direct reflection of this”.
