Cuvee Chardonnay –
Pale yellow gold in colour with clear and clean straw like hues.
Lifted and overtly ripe stone fruit aromas of peach and white nectarine. This is supported by nuances of crushed nuts and cookie dough. There is also a slight cheesy aspect to the aroma.
Rich, ripe, juicy and clean. The upfront fruit on the palate is that of apricot, tangerine and honeydew melon. The mid palate is broad, yet clean with hints of cinnamon and brioche. The back palate is clean, soft, dry and lingering.
2019 Shiraz –
Plum and dark cherry in colour.
Rich and ripe aromas of black fruits with hints of aniseed and rubbed pipe tobacco.
This a rich and ripe medium bodied wine designed to please all palates this is a great all-rounder with flavours of ripe plums and cherries and soft dry tannins.
2019 Cabernet –
Dark magenta in colour with maroon and cerise hues.
Wonderfully ripe, lifted and perfumed. The nose displays fruit aromas of stewed black fruit with hints of dried mixed herbs and liquorice. There are also wafts of black pepper and nutty oak.
Rich, ripe, generous, soft and dry. The upfront fruit flavours are of overtly ripe raspberries and blood plum. The mid palate is savoury and earthy with herbal spiced flavours. The back palate is soft, dry and long with cleansing acidity.
PETERSONS – been making wines since 1971 in Hunter Valley. Highly awarded, including Best Small Winery in Australia.
