Light golden in the glass. Ripe, almost sweet aromatics of peach, nectarine, ripe pear and honey. The acidity here is through the roof, making your jaw clench with every sip. Layers of fruit, minerality and salinity. Something that really stands out in the selection for this year. Easily approachable now, but has great potential ahead as well. Kudos!
Nikau Farm is Dane and Hannah Johns’ of Momento Mori very own estate-grown, handcrafted and bottled wines from their family vineyard in Gippsland, Victoria. These wines have significantly more time, labour and dedication put into them, such that it would not be fair to group them together under the one Momento Mori label.
