Vibrant and forward, with bright lemon fruit, blossom and a touch of grapefruit on the nose. Lively, fresh and bright, with loads of flavour yet elegant and with great lengths from the Robinson Chardonnay.
Will age well for at least 10 years.
A founding winery of the Mornington Peninsula at the very southern tip of the mainland, 1.5 hours south of Melbourne, the Moorooduc Estate has been planted since 1983. Family owned and run by Richard with his wife and daughter, focused on single plot Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Organically dry-farmed, all the wild yeast, no fining or filtration and they’ve always worked with the same three vineyards (their own, their viticulturalist’s and one leased from family friends).
