Moorooduc wines are famous for their ability to be paired with food, and this wine’s spiciness and savoury flavour, as well as its light body, make it the versatile workhorse to pull out for any occasion.
A founding winery of the Mornington Peninsula at the very southern tip of the mainland, 1.5 hours south of Melbourne, the Moorooduc Estate has been planted since 1983. Family owned and run by Richard with his wife and daughter, focused on single plot Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Organically dry-farmed, all the wild yeast, no fining or filtration and they’ve always worked with the same three vineyards (their own, their viticulturalist’s and one leased from family friends).
