Bordeaux varieties made in a Loire style. Soft and elegant. The base of this wine is a classic Clare Valley varietal marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, with a splash of Clare Valley Grenache.
Koerner Wine is a partnership between brothers Damon and Jonathan Koerner. The wines are produced from fruit grown in the Watervale area of the Clare Valley, with the majority coming from the family vineyard. The winemaking philosophy is very simple – that is the wines are made in the vineyard. The Koerners pick early and use very hands-off winemaking techniques. As a result, the wines are light, fresh, textured and well-structured with high drinkability in mind.
