The Leko Blanc comes from the cool climes of the Adelaide Hills, its origins plain to see. Made with the use of skin contact, where the grape skins sit in the juice, it has beautiful aromas of citrus peel, nuts and quince, while having bracing acidity and a saline edge, and a full mouthfeel and lots of phenolic goodness thanks to the skins.
If you’re unfamiliar with the use of skin contact for white wines, it’s a winemaking technique that you’ll see increasingly from Australian winemakers, as it’s a great way to add complexity, body and different flavours to wine.
