True Syrah territory, going on fresher berry fruit, black pepper, game meat and mixed herbs. Good start. Fleshy texture ripples with ripe fruit, exotic spice, pepper, a bit of roast capsicum, finishes meaty and a bit like red vermouth. Nicely done. Fuller flavoured style feeling pure and generous and easy.
