Quite wild when just opened, with a hazy golden color in the glass. Aromas of peach, nectarine & mango jump straight out of the glass. The palate is glossy, with a tangy acid and just the right amount of bubbles you can ask for in a pet nat. If you have a day off and just want to chill at the pool or beach, this is your animal. Super good juice.
Besides being one of the pioneers of natural wine in Australia, James Erskine is also a MASTER of Chenin Blanc. Anything that he makes with this grape variety can compare or even outshine examples from the Loire Valley. He also produces wines from Grenache, Shiraz & Cabernet Franc, but we’ve been huge fans of his whites since the very beginning. A spotlight for this man is much needed.
