Tomfoolery Burla Negra Tempranillo 2021 – Remarkably good, juicy nose of classic SA cherry and vanilla with a little medicinal element too. Some Rioja elements in there as well – bit of dusty leather and baking spices. Fine palate of dark fruit with good balance and a satisfying finish. Excellent value.
Amato Vino ‘Mantra’ Barrel-Aged Sauvignon Blanc 2022 – Apricot, finger lime, and white peach aromas filter through, some jasmine flower, some nettles.
Blood Moon ‘Dream’ Pinot Noir 2023 – Earthy red cherries, a sprinkling of baking spice and dusty tannins with some bright acidity for balance.
