Bright straw yellow in colour. Yellow and citrus fruits on the nose, such as grapefruit, nectarine, peach, pineapple, and subtle hints of roasted nuts and flinty notes. A salty touch on the palate with aromas of lime peel, yellow stone and tropical fruits and a touch of vanilla, along with a refreshing long mineral aftertaste.
Irrewarra, a young and modern brand, from a now mature vineyard site planted in 2001 by the Calvert family. Nick Farr, who is considered as one of the best winemakers in Australia, assisted the family in the winemaking process. All styles of wines are produced here, Chardonnay ranges from full and concentrated from Geelong to light and refreshing from Mornington Peninsula.
