Really nicely done Semillon coming in at a good price. Rich aromatics of tropical fruit and a balanced dosage of lees contact. Palate follows the nose nicely and offers some fruit density with a long, juicy finish. Give it some air in the glass and you’ll be amazed by what it gives. Great drop!
Small batch winery Dormilona is run by Jo and husband Jimmy. The name Dormilona means ‘lazy bones’ in Spanish and reflects their laidback approach to winemaking and her nickname during her winemaking years in Spain. She makes wine to express the vintage, the conditions, the site, the soils and best of all, uses very little intervention.
