A very ripe and bold Montepulciano that is so very like one could expect from the style. Quite a powerhouse, but mainly in a good way. The wine is remarkably fresh, bright and balanced. The overall style is quite straightforward and fruit-driven, lacking some complexity, but we can imagine the wine could gain some additional depth with ageing.
Garagiste ‘Le Stagiare’ Pinot Noir 2022
Aged for 10 months on lees on concrete and large format barrels, unfined and unfiltered, with a complex balance of ripe and pure Pinot fruit. Aromatic on the nose with dark cherries and poached plums. Fragrant, silky and powerfully seductive.
