Lots of promise. A lovely summer white with a bit of weight but still super-charged with electricity. This wine is all about senses. Cerebral switch flicker. The fruit is beautifully saturated with the slightest smidge of that Jura funk. Apricot, papaya, green apple and pear. A modest saline whisper on the finish. An attractive blend by any account that will benefit from further aging, but it’s gonna be tough to wait.
Along with amazing family and friends, Borachio makes grape based beverages in Mount Lofty Ranges, from fruit grown by beautiful people on Kaurna and Peramangk lands. They strive for wines with energy and finesse, made with immense focus and intent. As such, they keep things in the winery simple and gentle. All Borachio wines are made without any additions or subtractions — some grapes are even saved for amaro (grape spirit/aromats) and piquettes (water/hops).
