Grape(s): Pinot Gris + Riesling + Chardonnay + Gew?rztraminer
Style: Light-bodied, crisp white wine made using the tank method
A solid QPR for this Geelong white blend. Don’t expect out-worldly terroir depth, but rather superb varietal expression and structural balance. Marked with peach-yoghurt and lemon-rind aromas, leading to a smooth, creamy and textural palate that has plenty of body and an aromatic, polished finish.
A collaboration between two legends – David Fesq (Fesq & Co. importer) & Ray Nadeson (Lethbridge winemaker) – Between Five Bells is a winery that made its mark with a compelling combination of drinkable and delicious, but also super complex and interesting wines. The majority of the fruit for the wines of Between Five Bells comes from various parts of Lethbridge?s vineyard blocks, at the foot of Mt Dunedin, in Geelong. Everything is handpicked, 50% de-stemmed and co-fermented in the open air under the sky and the sun. All the blending is done at the same time and judged solely on taste.”
